I am running MandrakeLinux 10.1 on VPC and I am trying to install some programs through wine. It states that I have to download the newest Version of Java. I got the Java download but now I'm confused on how to install. I have installed other programs like Mozilla FireFox and that worked. Can anyone help me install Java. Thanks

I believe the fake windows installation (through wine) is telling you that you need java, not linux. so I believe you have to pickup a windows-jav-version and install it through wine.

I was trying to install Limewire but now i just want the newest version of Java incase I have to install anything else that might run into this same problem. It just might be Limewire though. If you have any insight on how to install Java on MDK10.1 thank you.
