How do I install a new mouse? I have tried the mouseconfig and it says file not found. I am using Redhat 7.2. Thanks
What port is the mouse on? You need to make a symbolic link from /dev/mouse to /dev/psaux (for a P/S2 mouse), or /dev/ttyUSBx (for a USB mouse). Where x is the number of the USB port the mouse is plugged into (starting at 0). Shouldn't be higher than the amount of USB ports you have. Run 'xf86config', and make sure you set /dev/mouse as the mouse device.
