From your post I'm guessing you're trying to install RedHat v9, are you getting this message when trying to boot from the CD to start the install process? Or are you able to install and get the error when you reboot? Are you able to boot the CD on another computer? Did you check the MD5 sum after downloading and before burning it to CD (or did you buy the CDs)?
