Installin Linux in VPC 5.0

Hey.
I'm tryin to install Linux in Virtual PC 5.0 (Mandrake distribution). However, every time i boot off the CD, after it asks me for more options or to start setpu, the screen remains blank and there is no CD activity.

Perhaps you have to run the setup in text mode....can't remember how under mandrake, I think if you press F1 at the lilo prompt and it should say what to type in. If not, try booting off the second CD instead.
