Hi,
I have machine with NT installed. It has AMD Athlon 2100+ processor and 1024M RAM. As I tried to install Redhat Linux 9 on it. I was having problem. It was giving me "signal 11" and aborted installation. Well, I took out 512M RAM and tried to install again. This time I didn't have any problem with the installation. So I thought, may be the RAM unit is bad. Just to make sure, I put back the RAM stick and took out the first one that I installed Redhat Linux with. I didn't have any problem with the installation and running Redhat Linux. Now the problem is if I try to install both RAM sticks Redhat Linux doesn't run. It crushes. Does any one have any idea why it is happeing? Please help me with this. Thank you.
