Hai All,
I installed Linux RH 8.0. Now I want to install RH 7.1 kernel too. I installed RH 8.0 succesfully. But after that when I tried to install the RPM package of the 2.4.2-2 Kernel, it said
1. There are no process which Own this package.
2. mkInit has conflict in the version.
The Error is not expressed in the exact sentence. The exact sentence I forgot. But the meaning was something like this.

The kernel for RedHat 7.1 is not comaptible with RedHat 8.0. If you want RedHat 7.1 you will have to install it in its own partition. You can install mutiple kernels for RedHat 8.0. They just have to be the right ones from RedHat.
