I am a Linux newbie. Currently I have Windows XP Home Edition on my laptop (Toshiba Satellite 2435-S255) and I would like to install Red Hat as well, keeping both systems on the machine. How can I achieve this goal? Is there an URL that provide a step-by-step actions, instructing this process? If so, could you please give me? Thank you

If you want to have both Windows XP and RedHat Linux on the same machine, then you need to partition your harddrive into at least two: one for Windows XP & one for RedHat Linux. Since you already have Windows XP on your system, you want want to consider getting Partition Magic or some other partition programs to split your harddrive, making room for RedHat Linux while keeping your Windows XP data... Once you've done that, then just boot Linux up with the first CD and tell it where to install, the right partition.
