guys please help
is it possible to install linux without a cd rom drive. I want a dual boot system 98 and linux. I have installed win 98se on the first partition. I copied the installation cd onto the drive and ran the setup exe. 98 installed without a problem. when I tried doing the same with linux it wanted to access the cd drive. unfortuanatly the drive is damaged How can I overcome this setback

Many distros have a network install option. Redhat for example has a bootnet floppy that allows you to install from nfs, ftp or http.
