Install Linux on DELL Latitude LS

OS: RedHat 7.3
CPU/Ram: P3 500/128

I installed RedHat 7.3 on my Dell Latitude LS latop. However, it won't boot (unless I went to BIOS 'Save setting' even I didn't change anything and reboot). It stopped at

Partition check:
hda:_(blinking cursor)

Please help me.

You don't supply enough information. Say more about your boot loader, your BIOS and your partitions.
