i wish to know can i intall from the harddisk if i copy all the Redhat Linux files in two cds to the harddisk? i copied everything to the NTFS c:\linux\(whatever).

I wish to know that because it provides me an option to install from harddisk.

i completely newbies for Linux.

No, you can't.

You can install from the CD if your system allows CD booting; or you can create a boot floppy from the CD whilst in Windows then reboot using the floppy and the CD to start the installation.
