inetd.conf file in redhat linux 8.0

Hi,

In solaris we have inetd.conf file.Now i want the same file or same function of file in redhat linux 8.0.I think in linux xinetd.conf file will be there.If i want to declare my own scripts should work in "tcpd" daemon or my choice of perticular port.What i have to do please tell me

Sri,

You have to check /etc/xinetd.d directory for all the services.

/etc/xinetd.conf — The global xinetd configuration file.
