hi all, i was wondering if anyone might know a way to extract the images from .ICL files in linux, i have a large collection of icons from my Windows days i would like to use them in Linux.

Do you mean .ico files? kiconedit can help you there if you have KDE installed.

no i mean .ICL files, they are many icons in one file "icon collection", image magick can also do .ICO files, but i have yet to find one for .ICL.

My bad. I couldn't find any .ICL's in Windows XP so I was guessing it was a typo. If you know of a Windows program that could edit .ICL's maybe you could try running that program under wine?
