iam unable to connect my network

i installed a redhat 7.1, when i click a network neighbourhood is show unable to connect the localhost,but the different host are pinging, but not any shows the systemsin networks neighbourhood, give me procedure how to configure my network from intiale.

you can't just go into network neighborhood on a windows machine and connect to a Linux machine you need to install and configure samba first samba.org then you can view your files from the linux machine on your windows computer
