Hello
When Linux (SuSE 8.0) loads the pcmcia modules at bootup on my machine (Toshiba Satellite 2060CDS) the system completely locks up. I am convinced that it is a problem with the i82365 module. I have tried limiting the interupts to unused IRQs in "/etc/sysconfig/pcmcia>PMCMIA_PCIC_OPTS=.." and even "do_scan=0" but the system still locks at boot time.

Any suggestions?

Thanks to all!

I know that this will not arrive @ usefull time. However here's what to do:

1. Boot the pc and go to the CMOS setup (tap ESC on startup)
2. Disable the internal modem (damn Winmodem roedant)
3. Boot up and enjoy

Got the same prob, disconnected everything until i found that was the modems IRQ conflicting.. i hate winmodems...

Vx
