Comment:

Lilo got automatically installed on my
machine, since I wasn't there for the ftp
installation. Now, it wont run windows. I
know for a fact that my machine worked with
GRUB using redhat 7.3 and WinXP.

I need to know how to overwrite LILO with
GRUB so I can boot into WinXP, or possibly
fix Lilo to actually boot into WinXP.

-note: when Lilo comes up, and I select
windows, it comes up with some other
loader, and the windows on that one wont
work, only the linux safe settings will-

get an win 98 start up disk and run fdisk /mbr. This will write over the master boot record (lilo) with a widows. If you are using win xp / 2000 use the fixboot and fixmbr commands from the recovery console. hope this helps.
