Well, I just got through finishing the installation of SuSE Professional 7.3. Well after taking a look around the new KDE3 manager I decided to pop in my cd to play. I first used the regular CD player in the directory where I would find the volume meter and the sound recorder. Well, I also found another CD player and decided to use that one, I think it was called "A CD Player", I'm not sure, the icon was colorful though...anyway, when I pressed play the cd sounded like a record scratching and then it stopped, I skipped to the next song and then the system froze...IT ACTUALLY FROZE! No movement nothing, Ctrl-Alt-Del didn't work so I had to hard-shutdown manually. Any ideas why it may have done this??? Any suggestion is appreciated.

I did use Suse 7.3 a couple of month back and installed KDE 3.0 with rpm's from their website. Was on my machine for about 5 hrs and then gone because it kept crashing. I don't know about the status of it right now but it seems to be a problem with the Suserpm's - KDE 3.0 works fine for me when I compile it from source.
