I installed Mandrake Linux 9.0, I was on the net, everything was working fine. Suddenly it stopped working. I ran the install to repair any problems, and I still can't get on. I ran the Network configuration tool and still can't get on.

What do you mean by it stopped all of a suddenly? You must have done something or else it wouldn't just stop working... And are you talking about a modem or a DSL?

LOL I had the same problem James. I installed Mandrake 9.0. I'm on ADSL and use rp-pppoe. It was wonderful with versions prior to 9.0 but then... it stopped working. I kept playing with drakconnect and deleted the connection profile and then enter it again. At one point it worked.... man I was happy! I disconnected and reconnected.... now it doesnt work again :) though I did abslolutely nothing except disconnect and reconnect. What I did is uninstall and re-install the rp-pppoe packets again and again. At the end it worked but it took me hours and I still don't know WHY it didnt work the previous times since I repeated the same routine. Hope it will give you some ideas :)
