What I want is to let linux system detect both of my VGA adapters and let it know them.So :does exist any posibility to set up Linux system for using more then one VGA cards? I do not mean both at the same time, but let system detect both of VGA adapters and let Linux know both of them. Then not matter what adapter I plug - it will work.

You can configure X for each card and save the XF86Config(-4) files (eg /etc/X11/XF86Config.NVIDIA and /etc/X11/XF86Config.MATROX). Then either rename by hand or write a script to copy the correct one to the default /etc/X11/XF86Config.

Unless they are both AGP, why not have both cards in the machine?
