hi my name is pritpal and i have a dual-boot setup going on with redhat and windows xp. After a lot of research, i finally got mp3's to work usingh xxms mpeg plugin. Now, my only problem is videos. How do i view vidoes such as mpegs, avi's, ect? can u please tell me what to download and how to install it?

I personally like mplayer (www.mplayerhq.hu) for movies, DVDs etc....xine is pretty popular too (www.xinehq.de)

i agree with 3Dave ,mplayer is the coolest media players around.if you already have apt-get 4 redhat then this would install mplayer

#apt-get install mplayer

This would be the safest option.To get the best out of mplayer upgrade your video card drivers for linux.
