After configuring it:
#wine /path/to/windows/program

Don't expect it to work perfectly, especially straight away. If you have a windows install on your PC try running something simple like notepad.

#man wine
for more info or pop to www.winehq.org

If you just want to run MS Office apps, try crossover office which is a sort of customised version of wine....it runs other apps too though.
