Hi all,
I have two P4 machines with winXP pro installed on both. One machine has dvd burner(say machin A) and the other has simple CD writer (say machine B) Further I have access to Mandrake 10 in ISO form on a dvd RW disk. When I put this disk in the machine A, linux installation starts but when I put the same disk in machine B, nothing happens. Now my question is what I have to do if I want to run the disk on machin B?

The ISO format has nothing to do with this problem. In fact, if the DVD autoruns when you put it in it's not an ISO image at all - It's just a regular data DVD. The problem is that a CD-ROM drive - which is what you have in computer "B" cannot read DVD-ROMs.
You will either need to put a DVD drive in computer "B" or download the Mandrake install CDs.
