Hi All, can you help me on, question is : How to access a cd in Linux but cd inserted in windows cdrom drive, now I wanna access it through sharing.

You need the samba client, to access windows shares.

No, see before that Ive accessed windows cd drive through Linux even without install Samba.

Only, if the CD-ROM drive is a local drive, not a windows shared drive.

You share the cd. You set a user with a password on the Window machine.

Then access the share via //ipaddress/sharename.

Some linux browsers support smb://
