HI,
I installed Linux7.0 on my system and I am having problems connecting it to the net. The modem I have is external and I am able to find the driver for it which can work in Linux but now How would I install it? Anybody having any suggestions please mail me soon.

Thankyou
Shiv

Actually I've never installed drivers in linux, but what I can recomend is finding out on what port is the external modem hooked to (ex:com1, com2, lpt1, etc.) and using the pppsetup command. Good Luck

If you working with Suse linus 7.0, you start the Yast2 installing program. This program find your modem or take a standard modem type !!
It works !!
