Hi,
the easiest way seems to be using "Suse linux" (www.suse.com) But I suggest "Debian Linux" (www.debian.org). To start with linux you should buy Suse or Redhat or Mandrake etc because they usually add a book with first steps and installation guides. But the internet is full of howtos and manuals. Don't give up too soon, I had a tough start, but I wouldn't want to miss linux anymore. Good luck, Solo

Undead uses a very quick and easy install. goto: http://undeadlinux.com/help/install.php for step by step instructions.
ignore step 20. it is automatic now
Really it's only 13 steps the rest of the work is configure after reboot.
