How to install a Zip Drive, Floppy Disk, CD-ROM and a CD-RW

I know how to install a CD-ROM and a CD-RW, but I have only 3 IDE ports and 1 for the floppy, and I need to connect 4 things plus the hard drive, so I need to make one of the CD-Roms a slave of the other...I install all and whn my compter starts said: "Floppy Disk Failed", (but I istall teh floppy in the floppy port, what can be the problem? Maybe I did not put correctly the connection of the floppy and zip together...if someone know what happen e-mail me or aswer me here. THX

first ,make sure all the power plugs are in you probably pulled it out .also unles you have a superdisk drive ,regualr floppy doenst connect to the ide connectors it goes on its on cable also if you unpluged it from its cable makes sure you plugged it back in the same connetor

first you check your floppy cabel is correct or not;ifit is not correct then change any another machine if it possible check your floppy(with your) own cable not that machine cable if it will not work chabg cabel as use secondary of your floppy in that machine if it is ok than change your cabel other wise change your floppy drive it is it again problem then check wether your system has affected virus or not check first or change bios setting as default again it is problem then your mother board will be check with proper service provider if any one problem solve kindly mail me at ramesharul@fastmail.ca
