Hey everyones.

I'm very new to Mandrake Linux (any Linux version to be exact). I need some help.

Windows XP Pro is already installed on to the main primary partition (6.4 GB) and no operating system is installed on my second partition (just programs - 1.9 GB).
I tried to install Mandrake but it gave me 2 errors. The first one was to mount my drive (which I did; on to D) and to swap the drives...?
How do I set up this dual boot scenario without formatting my hard drive (or my second). I have a third hard disk which I might install; un-partitioned and everything. Do I install that and use it or what?

Any help will be geratly appreciated.

Thanks for your responses.

Fortunately, I was able to get in Linux (this was done by mistake; I didn't know my D Drive was already formatted so I stuck it in there anyway!)

Now the problem is; Can I possibly get Windows XP to read Ext2's and 3's?
