How to disable DNS lookup in sendmail

Hi!

I've configured for offline mail server because of dialup connection to the ISP.
When my users wants to check or send mail from or to the mail server it takes about 5 minutes when I'm not connecting to the ISP but it is very fast when I've link with ISP.It seems,I assume,it looks for DNS.So how to disable the process of DNS lookup when I've no connection with ISP.

Pls help.
