In what way? "FirstnameLastname" is quite common....

First initial last name is also common.
or do you mean how to add a user to the system ?

We used to use FirstnameLastinitial, until we had a clash, then changed to Firstname.Lastname which we kept to for ages. Now that I have scrapped the M$ exchange server in favour of sendmail and imap, I found a problem with logging into mailboxes if the username had a "." in it....so now we just use FirstnameLastname instead.
