Comment:

there are two files in fedora 8. one is Fedora-8-x86_64-DVD.iso and another is Fedora-8-x86_64-rescuecd.iso. Should i burn them into different DVDs separately or burn them into one DVD?

"*.iso" is a disk image format. You cannot just drop these down to disk like you would data files and expect them to work. Open your CD/DVD writing software and look for an option something like "write disk from iso file" or "write disk from image" and burn each using this option. Also, look at the filenames, one is a DVD image and the other is a CD image. So, you will need to burn to the appropriate media. Lastly, the DVD you create from Fedora-8-x86_64-DVD.iso is the Fedora installation DVD, Fedora-8-x86_64-rescuecd.iso is used to create a "Rescue CD" (used in case after you install you have a major crash and Fedora no longer works properly.)
