Does anyone know how, when using a browser like Mozilla or Konquerer, to slow down the playback of GIF animations?
Alternatively, what other viewing applications allow for controlling the playback speed of GIF animations? Thanks.

I think as far as controlling GIF speed in a browser you'll just be able to turn animation on or off. The speed is controlled by a setting in the GIF in 100ths of a second when it is created. You could always load it into gimp and resave it with a different speed. You could also use the command line tool gifsicle instead: http://www.lcdf.org/gifsicle/
