Pretty sure there is a menu option that does it all isn't there?
"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10

Guys,
I've been trying to get DSL 4.2.5 to install on a Pentium I (133 mhz) w/ 56 MB of RAM & a 1 GB HDD. It has a Matrox Millennium video card (4 MB of RAM). It is an old HP Vectra that had Win 95 on it but has been wiped clean. I have no intention of doing a dual boot system on this old PC.
The CD is bootable, it starts up & seems to start to boot, but dies & give me an error message that makes no sense.... Among the parts of the final screen is says:
"Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address 00000000"
and: "Code: Bad EIP value. <0>Kernel panic: Attempted to kill init!"
Needless to say, this makes ZERO sense to me. I'm a complete newbie to linux, so in a word: HELP !! Thanx !!
