Did you download this file: ftp://ftp.penggy.org/birdy57/penggy/packages/Suse/penggy-0.2.1-1.i386.rpm ?
Install it by: # rpm -ivh penggy-0.2.1-1.i386.rpm
Then put your username and password into /etc/penggy/aol-secrets, your dialup numbers into /etc/penggy/phonetab and other option (screenname etc) into /etc/penggy/penggy.cfg. Then to start it just run: # penggy
You may have to be root for it to work (hence the "#" prompt in the command above instead of a "$" which indicates a regular user).
