i got my pc, and i have windows me and linux mandrake 7.1, it is taking 5 gbs of my hd, the problem is that i don't use linux, so i like to stay just with windows, and i don't know how to unistall it.....can somebody help me??

Easiest way is to remove the partitions, but you need to use the linux fdisk tool to do so, the windows one will NOT work.
Boot to linux, start an xterm or better yet get to a console without X (GUI interface, KDE, Gnome, etc.) and then type fdisk /dev/hda (the final letter depends on the drive that linux is installed on, could be a, b, c, or d, and how many drives in your system).
Then follow the directions, h for help.
Good luck, be careful, hope this has helped you.
One more note, you will have to fdisk and format to in windows to regain the space, adding a drive letter to your list.

You can easily remove Linux partitions using a program called aefdisk from download.com
Great program.
