how do I reformat redhat 7.1

OS: linux redhat 7.1
CPU/Ram: 1ghz amd 512mb memory

I have redhat 7.1 installed I want to reformat it and install windows, I have a new drive I want to install redhat on but I can`t figure out how to reformat this drive i go to start redhat and it goes to local host login so i type my name then a password but even though i know the password and the login name it says it is not correct is there a way to by pass this and just reformat the drive so i can install windows?

There are several ways to format the drive. Here are a couple. Just be sure that you know this will get rid of everything on the drive.

1. You can get a bootdisk file from Bootdisk.com
Boot with a Win98/Me boot disk and at the prompt A:\> type fdisk and press enter. In the fdisk utility delete the partitions (linux will be non-dos). Create a new partition and reboot. At the prompt A:\> type format c: and press enter.

2. Boot the computer with cdrom1 of the linux install and go through the disk partitioning with Disk Druid , Fdisk or Cfdisk.
