How do i get it to open with exe files... after I click open with> Application.. how do i add the application so that exe's open with wine... plz help me..

Open the GNOME Control Center, find File Types and Programs, and add a MIME type for .exe files.
I don't know the proper MIME type, and I don't think it really matters. Call it something like application/windows. Do whereis WINE to find the full path to WINE (just in case it isn't in your PATH).
