Comment:

This is the first I have ever installed Linux. I am a little confused. I think there is a problem with the 2 graphics I have installed. One is a onboard one and one is a Nvideo GForce FX 5500. I want to use the Gforce. How do I disable the other one? Right now I can't even get to the GUI because I am getting an error (something about X Server shutting down)

Disable it in your BIOS before you even boot any OS.
