hi guyz, i've gotta driver for my g-card s3 savage pro ddr which i want to install to be able to access x-interface. but i duno how n where to install to it!!! its(savage_drv.o) in the root directory . if sumone cud plz guide me thru the process... thanx a lot

it should be put in
/usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers
use 'setup->Xconfigurator' to setup X.

shud the driver be put in the said directory as it is or it needs to be compiled or anything else?? only a cp command wud do the work n will the xconfigurator be able to detect the driver henceforth????
