Help!!
I have install linux 8.1, Mandrake and the latest version of Apache server. I'm new to the linux world and i need more info about how to set up my own web server so that it can be access from other machines.
I have linux configured and setup to run on comcast's cable modem service. I think I have a static IP because every time i ping my computer its the same ip#.
I have also registered a domain name and have the IP address for the domain along with a primary and secondary DNS nameservers and nameserver IP addresses.
Does anyone have any step by step tips of how I can create my web server?
First of all your IP with comcast cable is not static
