Well, here is what I use on my PC and it
works great. I have both RedHat Linux 7.2 &
Windows 2000 Professional. Please make sure
you edit this file for /dev to point to your
partitions... As you can see from below, I
have Windows 2000 on the first drive and
RedHat Linux (/boot) on the first partition
of the second drive...

E-mail me and tell me how it turns out for
you. Of course, after saving this to your
/etc/lilo.conf, you need to run "lilo" at
the prompt (as root) so the new settings
would be in effect.

Lawrence

# /etc/lilo.conf
default=linux
prompt
#timeout=50
boot=/dev/hda
map=/boot/map
install=/boot/boot.b
message=/boot/message
linear
#
image=/boot/vmlinuz-2.4.7-10
label=linux
initrd=/boot/initrd-2.4.7-10.img
read-only
root=/dev/hdb1
append="hdc=ide-scsi"
#
other=/dev/hda1
optional
label=Win2000
# end of /etc/lilo.conf
