I have Tiny Linux http://tiny.seul.org/en/ installed on my IBM Thinkpad 355Cs. the first part of the installation is great - command prompt works and I've learned some stuff about linux commands. The question now is how do I get X windows set up. I installed the package XSVGA with pkgtool, but I don't understand how to configure, or even access the darn thing. Can anybody help me? Tiny Linux is supposed to be based on Slackware, but I honestly don't understand the Slackware FAQ, or maybe it just doesn't apply to such an old distro like this one. Again, Tiny Linux configuration of X windows.

You want to edit /etc/X11/XF86Config by hand. The file could also be called XF86Config-4 or xorg.conf. There are usually distro specific programs to set up X, a couple of common ones are Xconfigurator and xf86cfg.
