Pls help!
I have a PIV 1,6, 256 RAM, 40 gb maxtor 6Lo4J2, MB Epox 4SDA+, chipset SIS 645.
Cannot install any distribution (tried RH7, 7.2, MDK8, 8.1, 8.2).
After the first screen appears something like:

As a last resort you might try your hard
drive in another PC for the Linux install.
Then move the drive to your problem PC.
It worked for me with Red Hat 7.3.
