hi, i recently formated my drive, now it just
gives me the memory test and i have tried a
boot disk but it doesn't seem to work,
neither did a old win 98 boot disk, any
suggestions?

You did set the bios to boot from floppy right?
Try checking the harddisk settings in the BIOS or other boot options. Are you able to boot from floppy if you totally disable all your harddisks in the bios?
