hi freinds,

i have a dual boot system with linux 8.0 n win98. yes'day linux worked in gui fine.. but to day when i start my server n say startx, its tryin to show both linux n win98 network logon screen n suddenly commin back to command line mode...

i even changed in inittab... but no use

pls help me

Is this what happens?:

You boot your computer
You see bootsplash
You get the boot loader menu
You select Linux (and it loads)
You get a shell prompt
You type startx
You get a mess of Windows and Linux
