The last time I checked, there was no un-install for GRUB. The way to get rid of it is to overwrite it.

Am I forced to have a bootloader ?
What I want is the system to load directly
from /dev/sda1, wich is my / partition,
or whatever is needed by the kernel to load.

Can I write this into grub.conf in order
to avoid a single line menu on the startup ?

I don't need a dual boot. and the disks
are some kind of external, since fdisk/mbr
just stop any boot activity forever :)

You can set this line in the /etc/grub.conf file:

timeout=0

That should skip the bootloader screen, and boot right into redhat. As far as scsi disks go, I don't know enough about them to make any other suggestions. Perhaps, someone else on this forum can tell you a safe way to wipe out grub on your scsi disk.
