GRUB removal

OS: RedHat 8
CPU/Ram: XP2200+ / 512

I would like to remove linux from my harddrive due to the minimal harddrive... but when I try to boot from a cd containing XP, 98, 2K or even Mandrake the boot prompt just types the cd´s system-type then loads GRUB. I used fdisk and removed all partitions but it seems that theres something left in the mbr. what to do? tnx

in dos prompt try the command fdisk/mbr
it should be ok by this
