hi all!
i posted here yesterday looking for a version of linux for my mac, i used debian ppc release, and it worked just fine, until i messed around with it. i wanted to try fluxbox, but now i cant get back to gnome! there is no login window, it logs in automatically.
when i cold boot into it, it goes straight to fluxbox, when i right click to use the menu, there is no menu, only a square that says fluxbox. there is no start menu or anything! i need to get back to gnome and fix this. what do i do?
Custom Build:
Pentium 4 3GHz 1MB L2
1GB DDR400 2-Channel RAM
2x80GB WD SATA HDD RAID0
DVD+/-RW CDRW DVD-RAM

can you do anything in flubox? Try and navigate to your etc dir, and try and change the runlevel on load up. I cant remember the correct file to change that. If not, might have to rebuild.

i can't do nothing! the fluxbox menu has nothing in it. (literally, nothing!)
Right you are if you think you are

I'd bet a ctrl-alt F number would bring up a command line so you could edit the correct files.
I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you goober.
