Hello:

I'm compiling a list of redhat versions that give values for the mouse acceleration in gnome. I know that redhat 9 does not have a value associated with it on the slider bar in gnome. If you are familiar with or are running other versions of redhat, please let me know which version has a NUMERICAL value associated with the slider bar.

Thanks a bunch,
Jon

I use KDE so I am not 100% sure but I think that Gnome 2.4 has a number on the slider.
It comes with Fedora as well as all the other new distros out like SUSe 9.1 Mandrake etc.
After while I will boot into Gnome and post back to let you know for sure.
Take Care
Ron

Sorry,
Gnome 2.4 has no numbers in the slider.
Gnome 2.6 just came out but I havent even read any reviews yet.
For my use I just find that KDE is a much more mature product than Gnome is but to each his own. On RedHat 7.3 I prefered Gnome. But it seems that they are going backwards. The newer versions look better but offer less in functionality.
Good Luck
Ron
