Comment:

We have a system running Red-Hat AS 3.0 of which we would like to create a ghost image to deploy on other machines. We are using Norton ghost 7.5 but have been experiencing problems when trying to re-deploy due to Ghost corrupting the boot loader... I have tried various switches when creating the image. Has anybody overcome this problem?

Any help much appreciated.

I have only done this for SuSE not red hat. But what I needed to do was re-write the master boot record after the machine was ghosted. It took three simple steps but I don't know what they are for red-hat. They will be on the web somewhere
