Need awk for windows..don't ask why-is there
something I can use ? i have sed and strings and dosnix , but i need a real programming
interface and my perl stinks:(

if all else fails, you may be able to take the linux code and recompile under VC++.

If you want to use your gawk under Win32.You
can use cygwin solutions for windows.
