Hi,
I have a script that runs a passive ftp to get a .dmp file in another linux machine.
The contents of the script is :
ftp -piv <<**
open ip_of_another_machine
cd /dmp
get file.dmp
by
**
The .netrc is ok on the home of user that runs the script, and this script was runnig whell for a long time (crontab) and just like that it stop to work. Every time I issue the command ./script nothing happens and the linux prompt returns without a error message, but, if I issue the commands in the script step by step in the prompt it works fine. If I create another script with any command but ftp , its works too.
One last thing, my / file system is almost full.
Does anybody have a clue?
